MELANIE ROTHERY FUNERAL & CHIKA

Melanie Marla Ann Rothery was killed in a tragic auto accident this evening near Dale Indiana.
Melanie and sister Paula left Oregon just a couple of weeks ago to make a fresh start in Kentucky with mutual friends. While traveling from KY to OK, Melanie had a horrible accident, described below. Melanie's family is devastated and numb at this news.
If you're able, please help with unexpected final expenses: cremation, retrieving Melanie's possessions from her vehicle, helping sister Paula (and Melanie's precious Chika) return home to Oregon.
Knowing Melanie, her main concern would be for her mother, sister, pup Chika, and her dear nephews. I know she would appreciate any help offered for them at this time.
Thank you from the bottom of my broken heart.

Troopers report that around 7:18 P.M. (Central time), a 1994 Subaru Legacy had stopped along the southbound shoulder of US 231, just north of County Road 2250 North. The driver of the Subaru attempted to pull back into traffic, cross the southbound lanes of US 231, and travel east on CR 2250 N. At the same time, a 2006 Peterbilt tractor-trailer, driven by David Wolfkiel, 66, Owensboro, KY, was traveling southbound.
