Top Surgery for My Transition

Hello everyone!
I want to start off by saying thank you for taking the time to visit my GoFundMe campaign. I also want to say that it is very difficult for me to ask for such a big favor from all of you. I am a working full-time student, but the expenses of top surgery far exceed my financial capabilities. I want you to know anything you give will be greatly appreciated and I will do my best to address each and every one of you, with the intent of returning something small and special from myself.
A little history as to what inspired this GoFundMe campaign may not be foreign to most of my friends and family. For those that do not know me, I have recently made the decision to transition from female to male (after intense and at times obsessive consideration and thought). Mind you, this has not been an easy decision, and to be quite frank, I am scared. However, I need to do this to not necessarily complete me, but to attain a level of comfort, security and happiness that has seemingly evaded me throughout my life.
I was born in San Diego and lived in Arizona for a few years and found my way back to California. During those formative years, I had always considered myself a "tomboy". I insisted on being topless like the boys, put socks in my pants, shaved my face like my dad, and wanted to grow up to be just like my cousin Ricky. I envied yet admired men...for their masculinity, build, and yes, facial hair :-P. I've always felt more comfortable in men's clothing, utilizing baggy shirts to hide my breasts.
Getting top surgery would make me more secure with my body and be one of the most important actions I can take to make the full transition to James Watson.
