In June of 2016, Nancee Sanville discovered she had Stage 3 Ovarian cancer. She went through two surgeries & a full chemo treatment, after which the family was told everything looked great.
3 months later the cancer was back and worse; it had spread to the lymph nodes as well as other areas.
A new chemo treatment was tried which burned her skin so badly they had to try yet another treatment.
We just learned her body is tiring of chemo, which puts the effectiveness of further chemo into question.
So now it's time to do genetic testing on the tumor, & to try alternative treatment therapies, none of which are covered by insurance.
As Nancee says, "Cancer is a bitch but I plan, with the help of my family and friends, to kick its' ass. #FUCKCANCER".
We all know Nancee. We all know what a shining light she is, we all know she is always helping everyone, never asking for anything for herself.
Now it's our turn. It's time to give back. To Nancee.
