Hello friends and family of the dynamic force that is Nadine!
Nadine is a very special person in my life. Since the moment I landed in NYC in 2000 and met her, I was in awe of her. She was so cool, creative, smart, funny, and so fearless! I knew instantly that I wanted to walk in her heels and so I nipped at those fabulous heels until she eventually took me under her wing and we ran addVice Marketing together. Those years were some of the best of my life. She taught me so much and we had the best times! I will always look up to her as a mentor and as a friend.
I know you each have your own great memories of how Nadine has helped you in one way or another along the way. Now here is our chance to HELP HER. She would never ask for this help, but there is no doubt that she needs it.
As we now know Nadine is fighting stage 4 lung cancer. Currently she is bed-ridden and in ICU for at least a month undergoing chemotherapy. She is unable to talk or work. She still has rent to pay along with other bills and expenses. There are hospital bills that her insurance will not cover and she has a very large deductible to pay before her insurance will even kick in.
So many of us want to know how we can help her at this crucial time in her life. She is too fatigued to have visitors there to support her in person. This is how we can support her (quite literally) and take some of the financial burden off her shoulders. Money raised will help give Nadine a stress-free environment where she can focus on her health and bless us all with her friendship and love for years to come! I am hoping that this will get her through the next 6 months and then we can re-asses if she needs more help.
