Khudoyberdi is an extraordinary young man from Tajikistan, humble in nature and passionately caring. Khudoyberdi has dreams to achieve great things for his family, country, and the world. Despite countless roadblocks, he remains driven to pursue his ambitious educational goals.

Khudoyberdi loves to read, especially about space.

In February, Khudoyberdi was awarded a full scholarship for three years of study at ISAK, an international high school in Japan. Although this coursework will challenge him greatly and he will be away from his family for three years, Khudoyberdi is fearlessly pursuing this life-changing opportunity. ISAK will provide him an IB diploma (International Baccalaureate) that will open many doors to him, including perhaps an university education in Europe or the U.S.

Once in Japan Khudoyberdi will have access to an exceptional education, free room and board, a host family for holidays, and other support, but ISAK cannot provide the airfare and other initial costs.

Please see the budget below in order of priority. Any funds received beyond our initial goal will be used for unexpected expenses or possibly an airplane ticket to allow Khudoyberdi to visit Tajikistan, as three years is a long time to go without seeing family.
