Amazing Jasper the Asthma Cat

Jasper loves to shred toilet paper. He's the most prolific toilet paper shredder I've ever met. I think he likes to leave me a pile of little white fluffy flakes in the bathroom because he knows how much I love snow. And he likes to make the bathroom festive because it's his favorite place in the world. I can't even walk towards the hallway without him coming galloping along, rushing ahead of me, jumping up onto the vanity, and purring loudly. 

Jasper is a very special, sweet cat who came into my life last July. He has glowing orange eyes and a lot of attitude. He also has asthma.

Like in humas, feline asthma is a chronic condition. Also like in humas, asthma attacks can come on suddenly and can be severe and life threatening. Jasper's diagnosis is only a couple of months old and he has already suffered several dangerous attacks. I have been lucky to have a 24 hour emergency vet hospital that is close to home and provides excellent care. However, such care does not come cheaply. 

Any funds raised through this project will go towards recouping some of the costs from recent vet visits as well as trying to find more effective treatments going forward. Jasper is barely more than a kitten and deserves to have a chance at a long, full life.
