Mylie's Medical Mission Fund

My name is Lynne.  This beautiful child, Mylie, is my granddaughter.  I am reaching out to family friends and everyone! Mylie has been hospitalized many times since she was born a little over two years ago due to Autoimmune Neutropenia.  She has chronic severe neutropenia and is high risk for infection because her ANC or white blood cells are always critical- 0-500...and the normal range is 1500 and above. Kids are in contact with all kinds of germs and bacteria and their strong immune systems keep them healthy.  But with, Mylie, the common cold or a cut or a stomach flu turns into rounds and rounds antibiotics and or hospitalizations. Over the course of the past year, Mylie has had fevers of unknown origin lasting up to 3 weeks, followed by respiratory illnesses, followed by tubes surgically placed in her ears once.. that didn’t work... followed by another surgery to replace those tubes along with an adenoidectomy, followed by a bout of pneumonia and a fever that lasted another 3 weeks.  She contracted hands and mouth disease that caused her severe blisters down in her throat and every inch of her body. She gets so sick from common childhood illnesses.  She is not able to go to preschool or day care.   Mylie is cared for by multiple specialists: Hematologist, pulmonologist, ENT specialist, infectious disease specialist as well as her pediatricians.   She has to go for blood work sometimes several times week as well as doctor appointments that require travel.  Mylie’s mommy had to take a leave from her job to care for Mylie because she cannot go to daycare.  Mylie doesn’t know what it’s like to be healthy.  She is sick more than she is healthy. This family has mounting medical bills as well as loss of income and need lots of prayers and financial support.  Thank you for taking the time to read Mylie’s story.  God Bless You all.
