My name is Heidi Bacon and I'm an artist who just finished illustrating a children's book for a friend and was inspired by them to write a children's book of my own called "Daydreamer". The text is finished and I've already painted the cover painting for the book. I have 13 illustrations to go and then will self publish.
"Daydreamer" is a story about a quiet little girl named Carly Sue who imagines herself as everyone but who she really is until one day Carly Sue makes an interesting discovery!
I think we've all been there - as a child or as an adult - wishing that we were different or our situation was something it isn't...."Daydreamer" is a book that everyone can relate to and is an encouragement to "be yourself"!
"Daydreamer" needs funds for printing and marketing to become a reality. I'm a single mother of three grown children and would love to be able to be a published author! I have other books that I have written and need publishing, and I believe that once ONE is published, it will start the ball rolling and be the start of something wonderful.
