Since starting MusicBoxPete in November 2009, I've made it my mission to break the newest acts from the Boston and New England region and what started out as a hobby has become my passion and almost a way of life for me. One dream I always had was being able to make a living out of doing this site, and now is the perfect opportunity to make that happen!
Today, I'm launching my MusicBoxPete GoFundMe page with the hopes of making the site even more worthwile than it is now, and also rewarding supporters and longtime readers with various gifts and rewards to reward them for their long time support of the site and this campaign. The funds raised from this campaign will go towards marketing and promotions, and taking the MusicBoxPete name to the next level. Supporting this campaign will mean that you're contributing to the future of the site, and also helping the local music scene as well.
Support at the $10 level will get you a postcard and sticker pack, a $25 donation will get you a show poster pack, featuring a poster of Today Junior from the SoundLion show that MusicBoxPete sponsored back in 2015 along with a sticker, T-shirt, and postcard pack. These posters are a limited run, and after the posters run out, it will be a standard sticker, T-shirt, and postcard bundle. A $40 donation gets you a sticker, T-shirt and postcard package along with a handwritten letter from yours truly taken from the pages of my personal journal!
