Murphy Patrick McNeil was a beloved son, brother, grandson, cousin, nephew and local celebrity. He was loved beyond measure by all those who knew him. He will always be remembered for his entrepreneurial spirit, big grin and for his freckles.
Seriously, no one made us laugh like this guy!
His family has established this fund in his honor to purchase a bench in the Dixon (Hall Park) skatepark and to fund a scholarship at Dixon High School for students who will attend a trade school rather than a four year university. The memorial fund will also be used to offset unexpected family expenses.
Alternatively, friends and family may make contributions to the Murphy McNeil Memorial Fund at the First Northern Bank.
