We are a small group of people raising money to send Allie to Mexico for life changing stem cell treatment. My name is Juliette, Allie is my sister and this is the most important thing we have ever done.

Allie and MS Fight Club
Allie is an MS sufferer who is currently on a waiting list to receive Stem Cell Treatment for her condition, at a medical facility in Mexico. The treatment will see Allie receive chemotherapy to completely destroy her immune system before rebuilding it using her own, previously stored, stem cells. The treatment isn't without risk but its a risk worth taking to re-gain some quality of life.
Raising this money and being able to have HSCT will give Allie the chance to rebuild her life with some independence. The hope is that she will be able to learn to walk without assistance, to be able to take part in life again in a way that has been impossible for years. It will bring the real Allie back to those of us who love her and miss being able to do things with her.
Having lived with the condition for over 20 years, Allie has used a number of different treatments but with very limited success and some distressing and debilitating side effects. She believes that Stem Cell Treatment is the best option available, to limit the progression of a disease which is significantly affecting her ability to live normally and independently.

MS Fight fundraising
The cost of having HSCT is high and because of this Allie needs to raise £40,000 to cover the cost of travelling to Mexico for a month and undergoing intensive and expensive Stem Cell Treatment.
To raise the amount she needs, Allie has bravely asked for the help and support of family and friends to spread the word, make charitable donations and think of creative ways to raise the money she needs. The hope is that we will also be able to raise the profile of Allie's fight, of Stem Cell Treatment and of what it is really like to live with an incurable and deteriorating disease.
How are we raising money?
£40,000 is a lot to raise so we are doing everything we can. We have set up a campaign website, Facebook page and Twitter account and are using everything possible to raise the profile of Allie and her fight, as well as MS and HSCT issues in general.
So far we have held a sponsored walk and a ticket auction and now, as well as donations, we are looking for more fundraising ideas. We are working on some vlogging (hopefully coming soon) and have an exciting idea for livestreaming a sponsored event later in the summer.
We'll be updating everyone as we progress, both here and through the website and social media accounts, so remember to keep an eye out for our posts.
