Please help Rocio's Mole de los Dioses Restaurant Employees Get Back On Their Feet

When the employees of this special restaurant showed up to work early Sunday morning to prep for their popular brunch, they were shocked to find nothing left. The restaurant kitchen was firebombed and went up in flames – leaving their jobs in the ashes.

They are devastated.

“Rocio's” has been a place where employees have been proud to work; a restaurant where authentic Mole and a true Mexican cuisine made from healthful ingredients could be appreciated and served.
Employees took pride in this effort with co-owners Alonso and Elsa Arellano and Chef Rocio Camacho. By working hard together, they successfully put Mole on the map among L.A.'s finest cuisines. Great things were happening for “Rocio's,” iit was blooming, setting records and on their way to surpass their goals.

Now, the owners and employees find themselves in the worst possible situation,
“I feel like I'm in a really bad dream,” said a longtime server. “How will we support our families?”
The loss of each job affects many lives.

Alonso knows that the road to rebuild won't be overnight. After all success didn't come easy. It took years of sacrifice, hard work, commitment and investment for the restaurant to grow. But, he persisted when others gave a thumbs down on bringing a quality restaurant to Sun Valley. He believed the area freeway close could be a good spot where L.A.'s diverse communities could merge together. .

So, Alonso is “walking through this fire” by refusing to give up and his first priority is his employees and their families. He has has come up with a plan as a creative first step that can get employees quickly back to work and at the same time, put great food back in our hands.

Thank You for any support, it is appreciated.
