Brainerd Lakes - MN Vapers Relief

On Sunday, July 12th 2015, the Brainerd Lakes area was hit with a super-cell thunderstorm. Some areas were hit with near category 2 hurricane force winds. Heavily wooded area sustained major damage with thousands of trees blown down, roofs peeled off, boats and docks tossed around like balloons, automobiles crushed by trees, and power lines knocked down.
Power was knocked out to many homes and businesses and power has only recently been restored to most areas. Some businesses were forced to close due to damage, tourism was impacted, which has cost jobs in the area. Many homes sustained major damage, others minor, but requiring expensive repairs.
Minnesota Vapers Advocacy has partnered with J.H.T. Vape, Electric Vapors, Pure X-Hale and Vapor North to raise funds for Bridges of Hope, an area charity that provides aid across a wide spectrum, both in direct financial aid as well as through coordinating aid efforts of other organizations in the Brainerd Lakes area.
We often talk about the vaping community - it's time for us to give back to non-vapers by helping to boost Bridges of Hope's charity drive. As of 7/18/15, they've raised just over $1500 for storm relief in the area. We'd like to increase that number to something that will make a real impact. JHT Vape and MNVA have already committed a combined $250.00, and we hope the vaping community can come together to show the Brainerd Lakes how strongly we believe not only in our own community, but theirs as well.
Note that all donations via GoFundMe will be pooled and a single made to Bridges of Hope, which will be DOUBLED (up to $5,000) by The Initiative Foundation.
