Friday afternoon God called Miriam to be an angel in his kingdom.
Nine-year old Miriam had an unknown birth defect in her colon that only affects 2% of people. In most cases this birth defect can go undetected a persons whole life and never be a problem. Miriam went to the hospital Thursday evening and was diagnosed with a burst appendix and went in for surgery Friday morning. When they started surgery they realized that she had this rare birth defect and her little heart was too weak to handle the surgery. She died Friday afternoon.
Miriam's mother Maria Elena and older sister, Adriana (Kari) are devastated and as you can imagine this is a very hard time in their life.
Maria Elena is one of the hardest working mom's and everything she does is for her daughters to have a better life. She will of course be out of work for some time and now she has funeral and hospital bills, along with every day bills she needs to pay.
Any amount big or small to help Maria Elena will be greatly appreciated.
