Mini Indie Dyer Debut

Donation protected
Hi! My name is Mia-Vassa and I am 8 years old. Recently I have been helping my mom with her exploration in fiber dying.

We have gone into the woods and collected tree bark, chopped up beet roots, and even used some simple food coloring to dye our natural wool for spinning.

Once we've dyed the wool, washed it, and hung it up to dry she lets me spin the wool I've dyed on her spinning wheel.

While we were in the kitchen dying our last batch of wool I told my mom it would be really cool if this was a job and she told me IT IS! She told me that there are people who dye fiber and yarn as their job EVERYDAY! I would very much like to do this when I grow up. My mom said if I keep dying and practicing I could eventually sell my dyed fibers.

This is where you come in. With 200 Euro I could buy 3 professional dye sampler kits giving me 18 new colors to blend and practice with. It would also buy me 3 kilos worth of wool. I would love to keep practicing with new ways of dying and these supplies would offer me much more variety for creative color combinations.

I hope you will help me achieve my goal. Thank you for your support.
