Hi I am so thankful that you made it to this page. I am a Christian Mother that only desires to give my 4 wonderful children and my Grandchild the very best I can, to LIVE. Everyday I wake up and fight for my life so that I may stay in theirs. I am only a couple of procedures away from completing everything I need to do to qualify for the transplant list. So many tests,so much pain,so much stress. But, it will all be worth it if I get a new lease on life.
If you can help us with some relief of the stress of medical bills and the money it takes to go back and forth,so that our new future looks brighter,a decent home for me and my children, and to make sure we have the things we need as I recover, we would appreciate it so much! We are so grateful to everyone that has helped us this far in the past few years and keep the prayers going. God Bless.
I started this site awhile ago. It will be almost 3 years that our Lord has carried me and kept me alive,when I was told I had a short time. He has met many needs. Many still need to be met. I didn't have enough money to stay outpatient in Chicago for all the testing to qualify for the Transplant List. I need two new lungs. After surgery I will be on immunosuppresants for the rest of my life,but that's ok. I want this leash off of me(my oxygen). The home I rent is not adequate and repairs are not kept up.The money would also be put to use in the following ways: Assist in moving into a better home,please pray we find one soon, my dream is to get healthy and someday purchase a small home, but for now we rent. If we dont find 1, I will have to pay for my own repairs here ,plumbing,electrical,numerous things,and to have this home cleaned and sanitized as I will have no immune system.I don't have the energy to spread the word. I am running out of steam. I wake up everyday and pray for God to help me through the day and He has. My purpose on this earth is to care for my Children. I have turned this on and off due to being discouraged that dogs, intolerant ppl,and greedy people have made more than a dying woman that wants a simple life and to spend it with her Children.God has already performed many Miracles for my Family for ME,I will spend the rest of my days being a Testament to that, being the best Mother that I can, and hopefully making up for a lot of sick days with my kids and grandson:-) The rest of the story is below. A little over 2 years ago I was diagnosed with a rare Disease Adult Pulmonary Langerhans Cell Histiocytocis and given a few months to live.
I decided not to give up and have been fighting ever since. After this long period of time,worrying about my Children living without their Mom, not being mobile like I used to be, struggling just to make them dinner, I want to play with my kids again, I want to lift my Grandson! All the numerous trips to Specialists, and watching my Finances dwindle to nothing,praying and praying, crying myself to sleep because I have so many things to do and no energy to do them,feeling the guilt that only a sick single parent can begin to understand.

BUT our Prayers have begun to be answered. Dr. Edward Garrity Jr. @ UCMC agreed to try to do Double Lung Transplantation,the only thing that could save my life,along with God, if I medically qualify and stop taking most of the medication I am on.

I care so very deeply for the people in this picture and you can tell how deeply they care for eachother.MY son Jackson adorable,me hiding in the back,I used to jump in the front lol,my Beautiful Kristi got to hold the baby 2nd right after Momma Katie, and then my BF Nikki, "Aunt Nikki" to my children. My son n his friend walked in a minute later ofcourse!
So I refuse to give up, for them, for me, for my friends, and for other people, I can help when I am healthy again.A Dr. can tell me what he wants and based on the facts.
