Medical Team Fund-Nepal Earthquake

Today, it has been 6 days since Nepal was struck by a powerful 7.9 magnitude earthquake causing massive human casualty, 5016 reported dead and more than 7000 injured until now and numbers are still going up, destructions of thousands thousands of houses and historical sites.
During this tragic event, I was in my home Jhumlawang, Rukum. Luckily, no one was hurt in my community, and sorrounding villages in mid west Nepal.
Due to lack of internet access and news, I was unware of the scale of devastation.
Why am I Raising Fund?
Rescue efforts, medical treatment and aid distribution has been taking places in many affected places where access are relatively easier due to motorable road.
However, there are still several remote villages, according to the information that I have gathered so far, where no medical team has been able to reach yet. We have identified few of those villages where we would like to reach as quickly as possible.
The fund you are generously donating here and collecting will be used to mobilise the medical team and volunteers to reach out in those villages.
Teaming Up With:
Jhumlawang Village Foundation, www.jvf-nepal.org, community based organisation based in Rukum, has been teaming up with a medical team of Aids Actions Internationales Pompiers (www.aaip.fr) France, and 5 medical doctors from Nepal at the moment.
There is a possibility of teaming up with other relief organisations and team of volunteers once we mobilise the team on the sites.
