On Saturday August 4th, 2018 our friend Shannon was in a hit and run accident when a motorcycle with 2 kids ran into her, knocking her into the ditch, close to her home. She broke her back in 3 places, and is now awaiting surgery. She will be receiving specialized care from two neurosurgeons from San Jose. The medical bill thus far is projected at $30,000 USD. For those who don't know, Shannon is the single parent taking care of two young boys. Any donation is received with gratitude.
