PURPOSE: The purpose of the McNair Travel Club is to give students, parents, teachers & alumni an opportunity to have educational experiences around the world. Traveling exposes everyone to a high level of learning. First-hand experiences are truly life transforming!
CURRENT GOAL: 20-30 High Achieving Students have an opportunity to participate in numerous educational excursions and competitions. They have completed numerous community service events, school projects, and fundraising efforts throughout the school year. This program links education to real world connections, increase leadership skills, prepares students for competitions and exposes them to careers in Marine Biology, Technology, Engineering, Architecture, and Managing Your Personal Brand.
BENEFITS: Benefits include an enriched curriculum, field experiences, educational credits, prizes, exposure to other cultures & ideas, increased confidence to pursue dreams & passions, ability to contribute to the world, competition preparation, life outside of school, and much more.
