Help Rebuild Nepal
Donation protected
Dr. Sonam Ruit, from Martin Foot and Ankle in Central Pennsylvania, is originally from Nepal and is asking all of you for your help during this difficult period. As you all know about the massive earthquake that hit Nepal this past weekend. Official report indicates over 5000 people have died, but local estimates are much higher. People and loved ones that are missing are in the thousands. Millions have been affected and continues to rise. Fortunately, Dr. Ruit's family is okay but thousands and thousands of people in Nepal are in dire state. There has been massive destruction, chaos, fear and anxiety in the people of Nepal with the continued aftershocks. There is lack of adequate drinking water, electricity, medical supplies and shortage of fuel causing more panic. International support has been strong but it is not enough. He is asking anyone to donate what they can to this fund. 100% of these funds and supplies collected from local hospitals will be delivered to the local authorities and hospitals in desperate need. He is starting the fund with his own $1500.00. He is calling all local hospitals to donate any surgical supplies they have. He is also considering going to Nepal in the next few weeks to help out in anyway he can. He thanks all of you from the bottom of his heart.
