Jesse, the medical mystery
Donation protected

Jesse is a 15 month old Australian Shepherd, Blue Heeler, McNab Shepherd mix. She is a lovely blue merle color with the energy and drive of any herding dog. She is funny and silly. She is perplexed when we bring strange animals into the house, but willing to go along with the rules.
Jesse has been in and out of Newberg Veterinary hospital since January 24, 2015. She is currently “In” on her longest stay so far, over a week. What she has exactly, no one knows. The 5 extraordinary vets here in Newberg have contacted 2 internal medicine vets in the area to review her labs, x rays and ultrasounds. We do know that her temperature has been high; She is on 3 different antibiotics, steroids and iv fluids, she can’t eat much because she is so nauseated even with medicines to help. We make her food as she prefers that to the canned; Turkey, brown rice, fresh rosemary from the garden and carrots.
We need to run additional tests to determine what is going on with her, an MRI would be helpful but at several thousand dollars way more than we can afford. Any amount you can share would be appreciated.
