Loving. Inspirational. Passionate. Dog Lover. These qualities embody our beautiful friend Rhea Nabua. One only needs to glance at her Instagram page to witness her infectious laugh, inviting smile, and appreciation for life.
Tragically, on Sunday, February 1st, Rhea was in a harrowing car accident with her mother and suffered a severe traumatic brain injury as a result. With limited health insurance and having an extensive injury, she needs our support more than ever.
Join me today to raise the funds to support Rhea's immediate and long-term rehabilitative health care needs. Your help will provide her family with the resources necessary to help Rhea make a full recovery and reunite her with her adoring puppy Gio.
About Rhea
Rhea’s most defining quality is her authentic, loving, and kind nature. She makes friends wherever she goes and leaves you feeling like you have known her all of your life.
Rhea’s kindness and compassion extends beyond her family, friends and even humans. At UC Berkeley, she hosted events to support Campfire’s efforts to build confidence and leadership skills in our youth. In 2007, she organized a community event to raise money for cancer research with Relay for Life. She wanted to honor her stepfather who passed away from cancer. As a dedicated dog lover, dog parent, and advocate, Rhea’s most recent project was a children’s book aimed at promoting acceptance for various conditions like ADHD and autism through the use of a cartoon pitbull.
Rhea is one of our world’s brightest stars with many more feats to accomplish and light to share. Your support will help give her the care she desperately needs.
Rhea’s work:
*Pawsitive Place, a children’s series raising awareness for autism, ADHD, and other cognitive neurobehavioral challenges
*Pitbull Friends , higlighting her love and advocacy for pitbulls
*Producer on projects with artists such as Snoop Dogg, Eddie Murphy, Arsenio Hall, and Goapele.
*Cognitive Neuroscience News & Media site , promoting awareness and understanding in the field for autism, ADHD, OCD, and anxiety disorders
