Misha came into my World on a Spring day in 1994, at just (7) weeks old and maybe three lbs. with brilliant loving and caring blue eyes and big tufted ears.
She joined me on camping trips, fly fishing excursions and pheasant hunting Fall days with energy and excitement that was unequaled by any pet or human being I had ever experienced the same with.
I have no children at 58 years young and have cherished my treasured times with the most loving feline one could ever imagine sharing a home with.
Misha was my inspirational heroine during troubled times in my own life and I have returned the favor most willingly after her serious health issues that frankly, has surpassed any bravery I have seen in my days on this Earth. She encouraged me to not let her go, when most people advised I do exactly that and put her to rest. I nearly did that last year when we discovered an agressive tumor in her right sinus cavity that had penetrated the membrane and rested on her brain.
She suffered through weeks of radiation therapy at Washington State University, while losing her eyesight, but managed to give me a huge hug and audible thank you after the last painful day of treatment. I had made the right decision in listening to her body and her wishes. I can't explain how, but it was the most rewarding gift of my lifetime. That procedure bought us (10) more months together. It has been glorious and worth every penny.
Unfortunately the tumor has returned and Misha must endure the same horrible process all over again, but I am confident, once again, that it is the right decision.
I am seeking the help of any capable animal lovers, humanitarians and friends of Mother Nature in paying Mishas' necessary Medical bills and recovery at her loving home. This World really is a better place with Pets that have such a powerful message of survival as Misha has shared with so many over her 21 years. She is the first "Good Morning" I say....and the last "Good Night" I utter before retiring each night. If you can't contribute, we understand. Send your prayers instead.
