Helping Josh get back on the road!
Josh Steadings, a husband and father to the most precious little tots (Ainsley, 4 and Camryn, 2) is definitely loved by many and highly respected for his Christian faith, positive outlook and his love for teaching.
On Wednesday, February 4th, 2015 Josh and his two children were involved in a serious MVA which has left him with a C5 - C6 spinal cord injury. Currently he is paralyzed from mid-chest down with limited expectations to regain the use of his lower extremities.
At this time the plan is for Josh to go for extensive rehabilitation at a facility which specializes in spinal cord injuries. As of now (Feb 7, 2015) the plan is for him to attend the Shepherd Center located in Atlanta, GA. The rehabilitation process is expected to be very lengthy therefore Josh and Autumn are expected to be away from “home” for approximately 3 months minimum.
We would like to thank you all in advance for your contributions as the medical expenses, gas expense, the meals for Autumn their tots, in addition to the medical equipment that will be needed once he draws near discharge home.
We are asking that you all please pray for Autumn and her family as this road to recovery will be long as well as emotional.
