Buy Rep. Steve King a new lawnmower
Tax deductible
Congressman Steve King, trying to belittle the Supreme Court's ruling in Obergefell v. Hodges, said recently that "I had a strong, Christian lawyer tell me yesterday that, under this decision that he has read, what it brings about is: It only requires one human being in this relationship—that you could marry your your lawnmower with this decision. I think he's right."
It's apparent from this statement that Rep. King is just angry and frustrated, having been denied his own right to marry a lawn care appliance and wishes to deny that same freedom to others.
Everyone deserves something to love, so I'm hoping to buy Rep. King a new lawnmower.
The best bargain I can find on-line is a Honda HRR216K9VKA, which costs $399.00 at Home Depot. Thus, the goal of this campaign.
Since it's unlikely that Rep. King would accept delivery of this gift (which would cause ethics problems anyhow, due to its value), the money raised will instead be donated directly to the Boy Scouts of America, with the hope that his local troop will repay the good deed by offering to mow the Congressman's lawn for him, essentially allowing him visitation with his new mower.
