Become a Part of Book on Love

Before the bike season required 100% of me by the time winter had ended last year, those of you tuned into this project had seen me assert that I thought I was going to be able to use the proceeds I generated here to underwrite the Virtual Tours (HERE is one we did for Reno, NV) I had wanted to be doing of the 20 NBG Anchor cities that form our San Francisco to Washington, DC connection. Since not enough  dollars were generated, however, I turned my attention back  to the National Bicycle Greenway.

I began the work of establishing Davis as the new home for the National Bicycle Greenway. Though making that happen is still a work in process, here is the REPORT for  the Davis NBG Fest we completed on Oct 22. By my doing so, I was able to generate a template I can use in the rest of our NBG Anchor cities. Since each Fest that we hold will feature a silent auction as a way to raise funds, the merchandise up for bid will come from the vendors who will have paid for their space on our Attractions maps with the goods they sell.

Before I start working that in earnest though. to help all of us get more love going in our lives, I got my book on love  that I started all the way back in 1995 out there! As such then over the next two months, I will continue to tighten it up as much as possible. 

Here, then, is how I feel we can all benefit from what I have learned about this crucially important topic:

As many of you may know from my book "Awake Again, all the way back from head injury" (foreword by Wayne Dyer), I overcame the massively debilitating effects of a two-month coma, paralysis and clinical death to then do two bike rides across America (the last one for the National Head Injury Foundation that helped 40 million people learn about the catastrophic nature of brain trauma). Nor did my love-empowered journey end there. As I push to make the National Bicycle Greenway real, in my new book, you will see how I use Love and the rare HiWheel Eagle to keep the interest and fun levels pegged at high.
