Ausarbeitung zweier Variationen

Um Euch mein Vorhaben vorzustellen erlaube ich mir kurz ein paar Jahre zurückzuspulen wo die Idee entstanden ist: Das war nämlich folgendermaßen : ich wohnte am Rande der Überseestadt von Bremen in einer ehemaligen Metallfabrik. Die Überseestadt, so habe ich zumindest von Erzählungen vernommen, war in noch weiter zurückliegender Zeit Ankerpunkt der Bremer Hafenindustrie; in der Metallfabrik mietete ich mir eine mittelgroße Halle, die ich mir im Laufe der Zeit ausbaute. Kleines Haus in Halle, persönliche Infrastruktur usw.
Währenddessen ich da am Bauen war, bauten auch Andere um mich herum. Leider hatten wir unterschiedliche finanzielle Rücklagen und so entschied ich durch eine für mich gefühlt entstandene Enge diesen Ort, doch relativ fluchtartig, zu verlassen.
Damit zusammenhängend hatte ich folgend infantilen Gedanken:
ein loch ausheben, beton reingießen und es wieder ausgraben.
Die Mutter einer vergangenen Liebesbeziehung im Ohr: wenn’s scheiße ist, mach s groß.
Diesen Gedankenpfurz ersteinmal weggelegt hatte die Klasse Professor Ingo Vetter, HfK Bremen, welcher ich angehörte, in diesem | letzten Jahr eine Einladung vom | Springhornhof | Lüneburger Heide | gemeinsam eine Ausstellung zu gestalten.
Zu diesem Anlass grub ich vorher geschilderten Pfurz wieder aus hatte die Ehre die Karin und Uwe Hollweg Stiftung als Sponsor zu gewinnen; im Rahmen dieser Ausstellung entstand die Arbeit pilzfomen.
Mittlerweile sehe ich diese Arbeit eher als Prototypen bzw. Ausprobieren für eine skulpturale Formierung unterschiedlicher Löcher., zurückgehend zum Ursprungsgedanken Beton Beton gegenüberzusetzen und einem Innerstädtischem Bezug.
Dies habe ich zu meinem Diplomvorhaben gemacht. Vorerst an einem für mich spannenden Unort Bremens werde ich folgende Ideen in Theorie erüben: erste Skizzen und 3D-Modelle und andere Gedankenfürze | Vorgespräche mit öffentlichen Kultureinrichtungen und Politik | Machbarkeitsstudie | Entwicklung Finanzierung Realisierung | Sammlung in einem Exposé sowie Präsentation als Diplom.

To introduce you to my project I allow myself to rewind a few years where the idea was born: It was as follows: I lived on the outskirts of the Überseestadt of Bremen in a former metal factory. The Überseestadt, so I have heard at least from stories, was in even further back time anchor point of the Bremen port industry; in the metal factory I rented a medium-sized hall, which I expanded over time. Small house in hall, personal infrastructure, etc.
While I was building there, others were also building around me. Unfortunately, we had different financial reserves and so I decided to leave this place, but relatively flighty, by a for me felt created narrowness.
In connection with it I had the following infantile thoughts:
dig a hole, pour in concrete and dig it up again.
The mother of a past love relationship in the ear: if it sucks, make it big.
This thought only once put away the class Professor Ingo Vetter, HfK Bremen, to which I belonged, in this | last year an invitation from the | Springhornhof | Lüneburger Heide | to create an exhibition together.
On this occasion, I dug out the previously described idea again and had the honor to win the Karin and Uwe Hollweg Foundation as a sponsor; in the context of this exhibition, the work pilzfomen.
Meanwhile I see this work rather as a prototype or trying out for a sculptural formation of different holes, going back to the original idea to put concrete opposite concrete and an inner-city reference.
I have made this my diploma project. For the time being at an exciting location in Bremen I will practice the following ideas in theory: first sketches and 3D-models and other thought-provoking ideas | preliminary talks with public cultural institutions and politics | feasibility study | development financing realization | collection in an exposé as well as presentation as a diploma.
