Little L.A.M.B

Some of you know the first years of our life started in foster care. My brother was 2 and I was just 11 days old. We were adopted by my mom and dad when I was a year and a half and my brother was 3 and a half. Being adopted was the best thing that ever happened to me. My parents have helped the community by becoming foster parents. This year my parents decided not to relicense. While having extra children in my home with all types of behaviors was sometimes hard for me I still want to help the kids in foster care. Who am I? Some of you know me as McKenzie Baxter, I am 8 years old now. I have officially called my cause Little L.A.M.B. With the overwhelming response last year and just donating the last of the items to adopt-a-soldier in Door County and Summer School kids at Sunrise school. This year I am asking for money donations to be able to purchase only what is needed. In addition I am hoping to buy gift cards for struggling families in the community for to be able to help them have a better Christmas. Or be able to adopt families and deliver presents.  With the money I raise I would also like to donate a holiday meal to the foster families in the county.
