A Dozen Feral Cats Needs Your Help!

This little tuxedo is scared, thin, infested with fleas and has an eye that most likely needs to be remo
ved. She is in a great deal of pain. She is young - between 8 months and a year old. I captured her this morning when I was picking up a load of donated cat food and litter for the 28 rescues we have in sanctuary here at Bright Futures Farm. I immediately took her to our veterinarians at Franklin Animal Clinic. She is being cared for by professionals as I write this.
Right now, we need to treat the infection in her eye then see if it is viable to remain intact. We don't know yet. She also needs to be spayed, tested for FIV, FeLV and vaccinated.
IF THAT WEREN'T ENOUGH................
There are at least eleven other cats in this feral colony that are not spayed or neutered. I counted eleven, but there could easily be more. Their ages range from just a few months to several years old.
We HAVE to take care of this precious little kitty and find her a home once she's well again. We also need to TNR the other cats.
Bright Futures Farm is not in a financial position to take on an emergency like this at this time, and we have never done TNR of this magnitude - it's not our focus - BUT we won't walk away from these helpless cats. We have to do the right thing for them. They can't help themselves.
We can only take on this project with your help. It is times like this when you make a HUGE DIFFERENCE for helpless animals that truly have no one but us. You are our Village.
The cost for this one little kitty- I'll call her Little Tuxedo - is going to be around $1500 (estimate) for everything. Can you please make a donation to assist us with the cost of her surgeries and care?
