Youth Olympic Games is coming up!!

In late July, Jerome Smith and Antwan Kilbert will be heading to the final qualifying event for the Youth Olympic Games and they need your help getting there. Currently, Jerome is ranked first for the one US spot for the Youth Olympics and Antwan is ranked 3rd in the sport of Olympic Weightlifting! So now it comes down to getting there to lock up this once in a lifetime opportunity. Both boys have trained incredible hard and are both deserving of it, unfortunately, only one can qualify. To be eligible, they have to compete at this trial event.
On July 26th, they will travel to Valley Forge, Pennsylvania and they will compete on the 27th. If the boys compete the way they have this last year, one of them will come out of this meet with an invitation to the 3rd ever Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires, Argentina! This is the kind of opportunity that every athlete dreams about but these boys are living it! Help them get there!
Cost breakdown: ~$2500
Airfare, to and from Philidelphia: ~$1500
Rental car to hotel and to get food: ~$200
Hotel for 2 nights:~$240/night (2 nights)
Food:~$250
Both Jerome and Antwan are members of Lift for Life Gym. This is a not-for-profit, after school program for at-risk, inner-city kids. Lift for Life Gym supports over 400 different youth throughout the St Louis City limits, providing them with free transportation, nutritious meals and a safe place to go after school. This program is run on 100% private donations so supporting these boys and this program is the only way it will continue to run.
