During hurricane Sandy my father was greatly affected. He was evacuated from his home in Long Beach Island NJ which was completely wiped out. He has not been able to return to his home since. He is currently staying with me. He is a senior who is living off of social security and can not even afford to look for a new place to live. This storm has devastated his whole life. He is an artist who spends his days painting and donates much of his art to great causes. He has lost all normalcy in his life and needs all the help he can get. He was scheduled to have a surgery which he needs to remove 2 hernias on Nov 5th but due to the storm he had to put it off and has been in pain since. He has no car and to place to call home anymore and we would greatly appreciate any help anyone can offer.
