Lazy J Horse Rescue

The Lazy J Horse Rescue is a small rescue located just South of Battle Lake, MN.  Owned by Jim and Jeani Young, who's mission is to save horses from abuse and negelect and to find them homes where they will always be cared for.

Jim works at a fulltime job while Jeani manages the daily operations of the rescue ranch.   With small local and personal donations the rescue is able to keep up with the daily dietary and other needs of most of the horses.  

The Rescue right now is in need of larger campaign items, specifically at this time a tractor with a loader.  A total of 28 horese were taken in so far in 2017 and feeding square bales to them is not always efficient or cost efective.  

With a tractor the rescue would be able to bale more of it's own hay and it would open up the ability to take donations of 1200lb or more round bales a reality.  At this time it's difficult to move the large bale doantions. 
Cleaning out pastures and many other tasks on the ranch for the horses would also be a benefit.
