Laura has faced two separate battles with leukemia, was diagnosed with breast cancer recently and has undergone surgery to try and remove it all, and has also recently been diagnosed with MS. Laura also moved her
91 yr old ailing father in with them to care for him when her mother passed away a few years ago.
Laura can hardley walk at times, yet you will find her in her kitchen baking cupcakes for her church, knitting countless prayer shawls or quilts for others, or taking care of her father, husband and two kids.
The financial burden placed on Laura's family due to her inability to work, and mounting medical bills is way too much for anyone to have to bear alone. Laura's husband is working 2 jobs to try and hold on to their home. Recently they had water damage to their circuit breaker which they cannot afford to fix right now.
