Lady Knights play for Brandon

Cancer will touch all of us in some way during our lifetime. To help in the fight against cancer, the Lunenburg Lady Knights Field Hockey team hosts a cancer awareness game each year. The team chooses a person or organization they would like to benefit from the generous donations of our fans.
This year the money raised will be donated to Lunenburg’s Cotoni Family. Brandon Cotoni is a young student in Lunenburg who was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. Brandon was so excited when he learned the girls would be playing a game in his honor and shared this with the team:
"If I could talk to my cancer I would say “Go Away” because I can't do fun things anymore like all the other kids. Sometimes my mom has to give me shots and I don't like them. Sometimes I get scared when I am sick, but I know my cancer will go away. I am excited there is a game for me. I feel happy the girls chose me! "
Jen Cotoni and her family are super stars in our eyes. Jen also shared that when someone has cancer, the whole family and everyone who loves them does too!
Your Go Fund Me donation will go directly to the Cotoni family. Along with your donation, you can also request a Cancer Awareness Luminary be lit during the game Monday, October 2 at 7 pm when the Lady Knights take on North Middlesex on the turf. Luminaries can be personalized to honor the person for whom it will be lit or for all who have fought against cancer.
Our luminaries will shine a light on our fight against cancer the night of October 2. Please consider:

o A donation of $20 for five luminaries
