Chloe Jade Byer's Memorial Fund

My name is Robert Byer and I'm the proud father of two beautiful children. My wife Cristina and I have lived through some rough times in the last few years but nothing could have prepared us for the news that we received this past January 13th, 2015. Our now, five month-old daughter Chloe, has been diagnosed with an extremely rare form of cancer which resulted in a large tumour mass having to be removed from her brain. The primary tumour was removed on January 19th, 2015 at the Montreal Children's Hospital along with two other emergency surgeries which had to be performed as a direct result and due to certain complications. Our daughter is a fighter and we choose to believe that she can beat this horrible disease. My wife and I are managing to mentally hold things together, however  this ongoing medical emergency/situation is putting such a strain on our family's delicate financial situation that we can't keep up with our everyday needs. I lost my job last year and have not been able to find a proper job and my wife is on maternity leave from her work. Our main focus is on Chloe's treatment and hopefully her full recovery.  Our family is in the fight of our lives, our medical team has told us that our little baby girl must go through an intensive treatment plan that will include 6-9 months of agressive chemotherapy as a result of her extremely aggressive brain cancer known as AT/RT. I can't believe that this is happening to us but I will not give up this fight. I choose to celebrate Chloe's life and I'm making this plea to anyone who may be able to help my family and our little angel Chloe Jade Byer. We plan to use a part of this money ($25,000.00), to be raised in this campaign, to help the Neuro Surgery and Oncology departments and their staff who are working tirelessly around the clock to try and find a viable and definitive response as to treatment of this deadly form of pediatric brain/c.n.s. cancer, which seems to attack helpless infants and children, as it is now doing to our little baby girl. Please help Chloe (my heroine) and our family to win this battle and beat this awful disease. Thank you in advance for your kind support and wish us luck and strength during this marathon  of hardship we must endure.
