My First Convention Table

Dear People of the Internet,
Have you ever been passionate about something really expensive? I'm sure you can relate. As you are undoubtedly aware, being a swingin' cultured cat, the comic loving community is an exceptionally diverse group of people. We happen to gather every year in various locations in which to be raucous, energetic fools. These locations are rented to us to host comic conventions, but known to the larger part of society as “what's up with all these weirdos in costumes in the streets?”. In these conventions, there are various tables and booths that vendors and artists set up to accost us with merchandise and art. I'd very much like to be sitting behind one of these tables, accosting people with my art. However, the cost of the tables is somewhere between an arm, a leg, and a firstborn, and I'm only able to afford about a finger and maybe a goldfish. So, here I sit, pleading for your generosity. Friends, family, and people of the internet, hear my plea. I'm just a starving artist, quite literally, unfortunately, looking to force my barmy cartoons on the world. This kind of exposure to the comic loving world could be extremely beneficial, but without your help I don't have a hope of setting up. In conclusion, PLEASE HELP. Every dollar helps, so don't think that anything is too little. I'm the type of person who appreciates even the smallest bit of positive reinforcement, so prayers, positive thoughts, energy, and any other means of positive “putting it out there” vibes are also appreciated. But seriously people, open your hearts, open your checkbooks, and help a brother out here. When I'm a crazy famous comic artist, I PROMISE not to forget the little people.
