Kickstart Kyoto Roller Derby!

We are so excited to be starting Kyoto's (and Kansai's) first ever roller derby team and we can't wait to get our eager new members into some skates. Starting a league from scratch is no easy task, so we need all of our wonderful derby/derby-loving friends across the world to help support us! 

Having spent a number of years in Japan, miles away from any other teams, searching for fellow derby enthusiasts, we met on one fateful Facebook thread and a year later, Kyoto Roller Derby began!

As a result of our enthusiasm (and non-stop talking about it), we found somewhere to practice and began to recruit our first members.

What we lack in kit, we make up for in derby love! However, no derby team can truly start with 2 pairs of skates, 1 helmet and 2 sets of pads! We want anyone that is interested to be able to try this awesome sport.

We would appreciate any and all contributions to help get our base kit set-up and bring derby to our friends in Japan.
