Disabled Vet Home Health Care

My name is Kristin and my step dad is Patrick Williams. In 1988 he was diagnosed with Glia Blastoma Multi-Forma, a terminal form of brain cancer. By the grace of God he survived. Pat is a laid back biker dude who rode his Harley daily until he was no longer able to due to frequent seizures. In April of 2014 Pat suffered a massive stroke after a fall that was caused by tremors and muscle weakness due to 7 brain surgeries. He is paralyzed on one half of his body and has been in the hospital since April. His insurance will not cover any further in-patient or out-patient care. He was basically "kicked out" My mom has been forced to take leave from her job to care for him 24/7.  She has depleted her savings on his medical bills and needs a home health nurse to care for him so she can go back to work or they will lose their house, car, everything basically.. I worry daily about my step dad and the stress and heartache this is causing my mom, as she is also dealing with her own set of health problems. I am trying to help raise funds for the home health care that Pat must have while my mom works. I am praying that through this site, my family and friends, and friends of friends etc.. can come together and make a difference. Even a small difference would mean the world to my family.
