Hello. I'm Rob. I'm just a guy with a dollar and a dream. My dream is to do what I love and that is making people laugh. I'm a stand-up comedian from Indianapolis, IN and I wish to embark on a venture no one else has ever tried to do before and that is a stand-up comedy study abroad tour.
I am actually the first stand-up comedy major in the world. I developed the major myself at Indiana University, the school I attend as a junior. As a first generation college student, I have always dreamed of leaving the country to study abroad, but since I have designed this unique major there isn't a study abroad program to accompany it. So what did I do? I made my own! I call it "Kind of a World Tour".
This study abroad program I created consists of traveling to London and Toronto to hit stages and perform the art form that I have fallen in love with. The program is from June 28th to August 2nd. In this, I hope to gain insight and knowledge about how the culture of comedy differs from that of the United States. In each city, I will also be signing up to take improv and stand-up classes at local clubs during my visit to further improve on my craft. This will enhance the learning experience and allow me to get advice from various professionals with a more international perspective. I have actually already had communications with clubs in each of these locations and I'm booked and ready to get this show on the road. This is where you can come in to help.
I'm not going to lie, I have little to no money to do this on my own. I am a college student working to put myself through school with just enough time on the side to crack a joke here or there, so financially I would never be able embark on this adventure if I had no help.
Your donations would be going towards travel, lodgings, tution and fees, and food for the trip. Every single cent helps and is greatly appreciated!
For your donation of $25 or more you will receive a hug.
- I will actually mail you a hug via US Postal Service. This could be in the form of a letter with the word "hug" written on it in fancy writing or I will literally hug the envelope and send it to you.
For your donation of $50 or more you will receive a hug AND a copy of the tour flyer.
- You may want a piece of the history you helped make possible so I will send you a copy of the tour flyer with the dates and locations on them to place on your wall or something. I know it may be depressing seeing my face everyday but you could also put it outside on your front door and use it to frighten your enemies.

- You ever watch PBS and at the end of the show hear them say "made possible by viewers like you"? It's kind of like that except instead of cartoons, it's broke college student. You'll probably still get that same warm fuzzy feeling though. Hopefully.
