Stephen's "kill cancer" fundraiser

I'm not exactly sure where to start with this. The fact that I'm even having to start a gofundme is a pretty hard hit to my pride, lol, but I was told to reach out if I ever needed it, and friends, I need it.

as most of you know, I'm 28 and was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in July of 2014. Needless to say, this was more than a shock.

my career was just taking off, my life was wonderful, everything was perfect. But that's the funny thing about cancer...it doesn't really care about you. Or your dreams. Or your life. All cancer wants to do is kill me.

but I will not let that be the end of my story. I have fought as hard as I can so far...proving my doctors wrong at every opportunity I have. I was given a 5-12% chance of making it two years. And that, my friends, is unacceptable.

cancer has taken so much from me already. My body, my mind, my job, my time, my health, my independence. The list goes on and on. But cancer has not, and will not, take my spirit. That's mine.
 
so here I am. I cannot work right now and disability hasn't kicked in yet. I set the goal low because I am a firm believer in not asking for more than what you need. This money will go towards food, bills, medicine and that is all. This last plea for help will hopefully get me to where I need to be while relieving a ton of stress.
