DREADED DAY HAS COME

$1 will buy kleenix to wipe our tears

BEGINNING STORY...
My beloved daughter is fighting her 3rd battle with cancer. In 2006, she was first diagnosed with breast cancer. She fought the battle admirably and, with missing body parts, she won.. we thought.  Then 2 years later she began having trouble walking.

A few months later, she began having seizures. lots of them.  Finally the metasticized cancer was found in her spine, breastbone, shoulder blade and possibly her brain.

She went on hospice after being given 6 months to live ... or 6 weeks, depending on rather the odd spot in her brain was cancer or not. Since she could no longer drive, I sold our little car to buy her hospital bed and it went downhill from there.  Things were scary, depressing, and it was hard to keep our spirits up.

She came so close to death that time that at one point doctors told us she would be dead in hours because no one had ever come back from the kind of numbers (oxygen, kidney etc) she was testing at. Everything was shutting down, they said.  But - Hallelujah - she fooled them again, went into spontaneous remission and came home.

But the celebration was short lived... the cancer has spread again, this time to her pelvis, tumors cover the entire area. She has decided to fight again. She's in her 6th week of Chemo. losing her hair, hurting all over, fighting with the nausea and weakness, but working hard to keep her spirits up.

Someone gave us some cannabis medicine (bless their hearts) a short while back. It helped. A lot. I mean she quit vomiting, has days where she's actually cheerful and we can get her outside to sit in the sun.  She lost 28 pounds in two months but with the cannabis she's eating again.

I also need a juicer and some frankincense oil because we're trying to slow or reverse the cancer with naturally grown food and natural treatments in addition to the chemo, which we're trying because her doctor hopes it will help with her pain. If it's too far gone to cure her, at least she feels a bit better and it might slow the cancer down enough to give us more time with her.

When you have a life you're trying to save, you should be willing to try anything and we are. Even her oncologist said she would prescribe it for her if she could. I've watched so many videos and read so many articles about the research being done... how cannabis actually can shrink the bad cells.

If you could just see the difference in her quality of life you would rejoice for her. Unfortunately the medicine she needs is very expensive just for the oil alone and we are going to a whole new diet that is very expensive to maintain.

This long battle had taken everything out of us and we are down to next to nothing. I am 70 years old on social security and as bad as I want to help her in every way, it isn't possible.  She's only 45 years old and has been through hell and back. I just don't want to lose another child, but if it is written in the cards, I would like to see it be at least as easy for her as possible.

Thus, I humbly and earnestly ask for your help. I am grateful for your reading.
