WORLDWIDE CUBAN MUSIC es una institución creada con el objetivo de recuperar, preservar y divulgar la actividad profesional de los músicos cubanos alrededor del mundo.
La posibilidad de un archivo virtual donde se pueda concentrar la discografía, el trabajo docente, la creación, la literatura musical y la trayectoria artística de nuestros profesionales de la música, facilita la labor investigativa de futuras generaciones que lograrán ubicar el talento cubano que se ha dispersado fuera de la isla y así legitimar el legado cubano alrededor del mundo
Los fondos que solicitamos a nuestros amigos y contribuyentes interesados en nuestro proyecto son para realizar la tramitación necesaria para convertir esta institución en una organización sin ánimo de lucro y de esta manera poder optar por las subvenciones estatales y donaciones privadas que también ayudarian en nuestro propósito de cubrir algunos de los gastos administrativos que conlleva un proyecto como este y hacer realidad algunas de nuestras propuestas de festivales, conciertos, reuniones y encuentros que nos beneficiaría a todos los músicos cubanos y personal interesado.

WORLDWIDE CUBAN MUSIC is an institution that was founded with the purpose of recovering, preserving, and divulging the professional activity of Cuban musicians around the world. This institution opens a possibility of a virtual archive, where the discography, the pedagogical activity, creativity, musical literature, bibliography, as well as the trajectory of our profesional musicians can be found. The archive facilitates the research efforts for our future generations, which would be able to have access to the information about all Cuban talent dispersed outside Cuba. At the same time, this will provide another way to contribute to the efforts of legitimization of our legacy around the world.
The funds we ask to our friends and contributors who may be interested in this project, will cover administrative costs, in order to make Worldwide Cuban Music into a Non-profit organization. This status will help us to get access to government grants and private sector funding, which in turn will help with the organization of future projects, including festivals, concerts, and other gatherings.
Any support that you can provide will help us reach our goals, and will guide us to the next step.
