SAVING GRACE
Donation protected
In the early morning hours of Saturday, February 7th, a hunter and his daughter were startled by something unexpected. Miles from any home was a beautiful white pit bull covered in blood. An urgent call was put into Furbaby Rescue. A rescue team was dispatched and after two days of searching, she was finally found. To look at Grace's beautiful face is to look into the eyes of extreme animal abuse. Grace was dumped in a desolate area, shot 3 times at close range, and with her trusting eyes, watched her abuser leave her for dead. But Grace isn't dead! The odds were against her, but she is fighting and we are fighting for her too. She was shot in the mouth and will need reconstructive surgery for her jaw as she lost a portion of it with the shot. She has a bullet lodged behind her shoulder and will need that removed. And finally she was shot in her belly. Grace is first and foremost fighting an infection so she can be strong enough for surgery. We can't do this alone, we need your help. Any dollar amount helps. Even with everything Grace has been through, she still wants love, she still wants a home, she still wants a chance at life. Please help us do that.
