Ava has been on the ice since she was 3 and started playing hockey when she was 5. Her first word was hockey, as she watched her uncle play. She has been in love with the sport ever since.
You can not believe the excitement in our home when she received her invite to the East Coast Selects -Q tryout. It is an invite only tryout. 68 players receive the invite. The tryout encompasses players from Ottawa eastward and down the eastern seaboard.
Ava is one of two Canadian players on the team. Her work ethic and determination to be the best hockey player she can, has certainly lead to the success in making this team.
