My son's family have been split up by the American government who let my son into the country to marry Jacki,  but then made him leave her, their baby and the country and move back to England.

They have been married now for over 4 years but living in different countries.

Jacki is from St Anne, Illinois.

The US government won't give my Son a visa to go to America to live with her as he is British,

They met online around 2006and got along great. In 2007 Andrew went to America for a vacation to the US and they met.
They just clicked, and they say it was love at first sight.

Unfortunately my son had to move home when his visa ran out, he was on a student work visa but they kept in touch on the phone and via Skype webcam.
It turned out that Jacki was pregnant and they had a beautiful baby girl they named Lily.

Luckily he was able go and visit when she was due and was with Jacki when she was born in 2008.

Andrew my son applied for a visa to go and live with Jacki so they could get married and this was approved, They got married in 2010.

After the marriage they applied for his residency to be made permanent (green card) and after many months this was refused.

They said because Jacki was not working that he couldn't stay in the country as she couldn't support him, even though they had the support of Jacki's family who they were living with at the time.

They gave him a date he had to leave the country by and a week before this date Jacki and his daughter kissed him goodbye at the airport and he went back to the UK.

This seemed really stupid to everyone I spoke to because Jacki wasn't working at the time they wouldn't give him the green card yet if they had approved it he could have found employment easily and supported them himself.

Jacki applied for a UK visa to go and live with him in England and got a 3 year visa.
She had been living here in the UK for the past year, but she is American at heart and couldn't bear to be away from her family over there.

She made the heartbreaking decision to move back to America and left on the 1st of January this year and although Andrew didn't like it, he could see how sad she was because her family in America is so close to her so he didn't stop her even though it broke his heart..

He said he would join her as soon as he can save enough money that American immigration will let him into the country.

They want to both live together without the fear of being separated again and the only way they can do this is if they can get enough money to move over there. Jacki really desperatly wants this to happen.,

I am using this as a last resort to keep them together as a family.

The only other option is they will be separated for many years to come, Jacki living in the US with their daughter and Andrew living in the UK and they will only see each other for two weeks a year.

What makes the fact they are split up is even worse now as Jacki & Andrew have just found out they are expecting another baby

They need £50,000 before they  can be together again.
If Jacki was in employment the guidelines state that she has to earn 125% of the Federal poverty level, but as she is not working they need to have the money in a bank account and the amount is 300% of the Federal poverty level for Illinois which when converted to UK £'s is £50,000.

Any donations will be gratefully received and put into a fund that will not be touched until Andrew has the visa to move to the US to join his family.

Once Andrew has been granted his green card, joined his family and has full time employment all monies received through this campaign will be donated to charity.

Even a donation of 50 cents will help.

The funding is in British £'s because Andrew has to have the money in a UK bank account as he is living here and has to use British banks.

The only other option is if someone in the American goivernment sees this appeal  and grants him a green card without having to wait until he has saved £50,000 so he can move over and be with them again.

Andrew saying goodbye to his family at the airport.
