Bring Art To Halifax

The goal of this 'fund me' is to raise $15, 000 and begin an ongoing project of bringing large-scale world class art to our city. As well as initiate an on going effort to help employ local artists and 'beautify' Halifax. Our future efforts will also be used to subsidize costs of murals for local businesses, which aid in the deterrence of vandalism.
With this first effort we would like to bring in LoveBot, Toronto (http://lovebot.com/) Axe, Montreal, to produce large scale murals for the city, and one local artist, who we believe is hard working and deserving of recognition.
These artists will be flying in the last weekend of September, coinciding with two free-to-the public art shows/events.
Donations don't need to be simply money, supplies, materials and walls will go a long way . If you or your company would be interested in sponsoring our cause, we would be glad to accept different forms of donations.
-Paint (spray & bucket)
-Staging and Lifts
-Food for artists
-Hotel stays for artists
-Walls for murals
-Security Services
