Learning with Legos

Legacy Academy is a kindergarten through 8th grade charter school in rural Elizabeth, Colorado. 

The 2nd-5th grade teachers at Legacy would like to purchase a Lego Story Starter pack, for use in our classrooms. Writing is a difficult subject to teach and engage the students in. It is also a subject that most students struggle with. While we have a strong writing curriculum, we as a school realize this is an area of need and improvement. 

Our hope is that with the Lego Story Starter pack we will engage the students and motivate them to want to write!  The Lego Story Starter works to do just that! Students are given the opportunity to create something with the Legos that they will then write about. 

As a small school we have limited funds for resources. Please help us fund this project and improve our writers!

The students are so excited about the possibility to learn with Legos! 

I have had several questions regarding writing checks or using cash. We would appreciate any form of donation! Please make checks payable to Ashley Cook. Write your email in the memo line and I will email you a confirmation of deposit.
