Chris Wood Family

Chris Wood (aka Michael Christopher Wood) is my best friend, and he is fighting for his life right now.  Chris has been married to Lisa Blamphin Wood for over 25 years and is father to 4 amazing children: Caitlin, Dylan, Sabrina and Merrick.   We all know him as a big bear of a guy who would give you the shirt off his back and generally spends more time helping others than himself. Chris has coached lacrosse at all levels for many years and many know him from that. On January 5 he was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia and not long after stopped breathing.  He has been resuscitated and is breathing with the help of a ventilator.  His brain suffered from a lack of oxygen, and no one knows how much of his "normal" (was he ever normal?  No, he was exceptional) brain function he will recover.  I started this account so that his friends and family, and anyone who would like, can support Chris and his family financially.  Already 100's of people have visited him at the hospital, and thousands are supporting them with prayer, and all are showering them with love.  It's just that with him not working, and considering that he will have massive medical bills (despite having insurance) and likely rehabilitation needs, his family needs your help.  Thank you.  Please invite anyone you might think is appropriate to join this cause.
