Mercado Family Fund

Aric Mercado has been battling cancer for over 7 years. This past Christmas, he ended up in the emergency room with breathing troubles. He was rushed to Penn State Medical Center and given a 10% chance of making it through the weekend. But he pulled through!!

That following Wednesday, the hospital got wind of Aric and his wife Ashley wanting to get married, and within a few hours, the hospital  had thrown together a wedding for them. Between Aric and Ashley being sick, they never really had the time. It was one of the most beautiful moments I was a witness to.

Aric isn't out of the woods yet, but he is doing better day by day. The funds raised on here will help the family in pretty much any way you could imagine. They also have 2 girls, ages 6 & 9 who have seen their dad at the worst of times. They missed having a christmas this year, and they didn't ask one question about why they didn't get gifts.

 All money raised will go towards groceries, oil to heat the house, clothes for their children, transportation expenses, and help with medical expenses.
