Joyces medical expenses and bills

Hi, I'm trying to help my mom out. She broke her leg 10/17/2014 due to weak bones. She had to wait 3 weeks to have surgery because her insurance didn't start till 11/01/2014. She had surgery 11/14/2014 and they had to put a metal rod in her leg. She lost her job the day before surgery because they had to fill her position and her insurance lapsed at the end of November. Her husband walked out on her right after Christmas and now she is living alone trying to make ends meet. She currently needs physical therapy but can't do it because she doesn't have insurance. She signed up for state insurance but it hasn't came through yet so she's trying to do therapy at home. She has to pay for all medication out of pocket now and can't afford it. She needs help with rent and utilities until she can get back to work. She worked for a local nursing home in Hagerstown and will return to that job once she is able to walk again.
